Besides all the fun tourist stuff to do in Baños this place is located at the convergence of two protected natural areas and there is as much good walking and hiking as anyone might want to do with beautiful trails starting right outside your door. The property is also a plantation with fruit trees and beautiful landscaping leading you along well maintained trails into the surrounding protected natural areas. The family that runs the hacienda, as well as there staff, were wonderful. They went so much farther than any guest could expect to make my stay enjoyable. They have a restaurant onsite and have wonderful options for your meals which you can eat there or have brought to your room. I can’t say enough about how well I was treated there. You won’t be disappointed if you trust your trip to Baños to Bosque Protector Hacienda Guamag!
