We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Menawarkan pemandangan taman, Satta Lodge di Puerto Viejo mempunyai penginapan, kolam renang luaran, taman,lounge berkongsi, teres dan bar. We stayed in a “ Jungle Suite” which is a little away from the main building, pool and other cabins. It was beautifully designed in a superb setting surrounded by jungle. It was so peaceful. The “ lounge area” - an open sided area at the centre of the cabins next to the pool was a good place to relax in the late afternoons when drinks and snacks are available. The breakfasts were very good even though the choice was not as extensive as some places. The staff were very friendly and helpful ( especially Donovan). Bryan the manager was exceptionally helpful and informative and keeps the place ticking along beautifully. The position just over 1 km back from the beach ensures a quiet environment. Although a car makes it easier, the local taxis and Uber are very cheap and readily available.

The bungalows are comfortable and well equipped as is the common kitchen area. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful. We liked it so much we came back for 4 more days!

The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. The owner was super friendly. The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. Beautiful garden and amazing pool, very nice and large cabana with kitchen and aircon. We love this place.

Owners are very friendly and helpful, there is a beautiful surrounding, beach really close and some beach restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable, spacious room with kitchenette, kept clean with everyday service.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Werner was a really friendly and helpful host. We had a great time! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and spacious. La rana has everything you need and more. Werner went out of his way for us to feel comfortable and he even got my mother some almond croissants for her birthday. We liked it so much, we decided to stay a night longer.
