Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

A unique experience in the jungle! The house was beautiful and we loved our outdoor "tree-shower". There is a beautiful path to the beach via the property full of nice decorations. Along the path you can pickup some beach toys to borrow and on the beach there are benches and shelter from the sun, it was perfect! On the property and along the beach we saw green macaw, howler monkeys, one sloth and several poison-dart frogs. It is a short walk to town for restaurants and groceries and visiting the national park.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Beautiful clean room with hot shower. Friendly welcoming staff. Gorgeous pool. Jungle vibe with lots of wildlife. Would recommend. My favourite accommodation in Central America.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. An exceptionally beautiful lodge. The two hosts, Delphine and Bert, have created a little paradise. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. Thank you for the wonderful time with you. We would love to come back. ❤️

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. La Rana de Cahuita is a beautiful eco-lodge. The bungalows are very private and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a porch with a hammock. The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of exploring, and the breakfast is delicious and includes fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, and coffee. The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.
