I stayed in Lomindra cottage and it was beautiful, comfortable & clean. I was supplied with lots of yummy breakfast provisions, lots of firewood, and seeds to feed the birds. It was a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the busy world and be in nature. I loved how private the cottage was. The local wildlife was superb, and the cheeky alpacas were a treat! It was a short 10 min drive into the heart of Lakes Entrance. The host Peter was very friendly and had local recommendations. Note to guests that there is no wifi and very limited mobile reception. I will be recommending Araluen Cottages to my friends and will definitely return as I pass through again.

Offering self-contained chalets with a double spa bath, a private patio and panoramic mountain views, Halls Gap Valley is located next to the Grampians Gariwerd National Park. The luxury villa was fantastic and had everything we wanted. Attention to details was wonderful. We loved the secluded location and the abundance of wild life. The view from the backyard, the tables and chairs and the hammock was a lovely addition! The bbq grill worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed making food. Firewood was available in the forest nearby and the fire pit was fun to toast marshmallows. The jacuzzi worked really well and everything in the villa was wonderful. Undoubtedly, the best and well maintained place we have stayed at the Grampians.
