Th whole site is very beautiful, well managed, clean, diverse and natural. You can also meet nice people staying there, and the staff are very nice. I loved the owners and their energy as well.

A very beautiful comfortable and well-kept lodge, the surrounding garden is totally lush and idyllic with lots of singing birds that will wake you up in the morning. I loved its traditional design, you can tell a lot of care and attention went into it. The hosts and the staff were super friendly and helpful at all times and will make you feel at home. Very good and well-furnished and tastefully decorated spacious room with wardrobe, very nice bathroom with shower and bathtub, private terrasse with chairs and table. Wonderful garden with nice pool for swimming and cooling down in the middle of the day. Breakfast and dinner was healthy and delicious, freshly prepared by the hosts Helen and Oliver.

Greg & Maria are wonderful, warm hosts who instantly made us feel relaxed & at home. By the end of our two- nights stay we felt part of the family. Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! I enjoyed here one of the best experiences during my trip through the Gambia. It was exactly what I wanted for my last days, a place where you can enjoy the quiet environment, just the sound of birds around you. Malick, the host, took great care of me, he was always around and available, bringing me fruits and nuts while I was reading by the terrace. I was very lucky to share a unique experience with them, as it was Sona's birthday and we had lunch together with Emilie as well, thank you so much for that, and for letting me stay in the room until late in the afternoon, as my flight was leaving very late in the evening. If I ever manage to visit this country again I will for sure visit this lodge again.

A wonderful location outside the tourist areas of the Gambia. The lodge is very comfortable and the hosts are exceptional. It was like being a house guest in their own bird reserve. I went for the birding and was not not disappointed with the location - the woods and the lagoon offered an amazing variety of habitats. The food was very authentic and done to a very high standard. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
