Great area.
Great area. If you got to the castle complex, as you are looking at the castle, there is a path off to the left that has an amazing view and was the best spot there I found for good pictures without the crowds.

If you can get tickets ahead of time, do so. the ticket line...
If you can get tickets ahead of time, do so. the ticket line was longer than the line to get in.
Also, take the stairs not the elevator, if you can (much longer line at the elevator). You can rest on each floor if you cannot do all 8 stories at once.

The wait line was very long,possible more than an hour wait, we ened up booking tickets on Klook App whilst there and used QR code tickets line ....skiped the long line and went straight in 😁 also theire was a lift to the top if you can't manage all the steps.

It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but...
It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but seeing it up close is really cool. I know it's a reconstruction but it's just amazing seeing that traditional architecture and getting to walk around the castle grounds. I didn't have a lot of time to do any particular tours but I think I would want to visit again with a tour guide to check it out in more depth.

Incredible! So much information and history. Descriptions of exhibits were well written and interesting. And the reenactment videos was super cool!
When you enter the castle, before you go up the elevator, the staff informs everyone that no photos are to be taken on certain floors (3F & 4F). There are signs everywhere that say no photos, and also a staff member walking around the designated area with a sign that says “no photos.” Unfortunately, many people were still taking pictures in the “no photo” areas, which was very rude & inconsiderate. Be respectful & don’t be those people.

Everything was clean. Beds were large, comfortable and had spacious wardrobes. Tatami room for extra single beds was nice too. Kitchen had everything you needed. The aircon and hot water system worked well. Easy walk to Tamatsukuri or Morinomiya station, Osaka Castle, convenience stores, and other small restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Stayed for 9 nights. Combined washing machine and dryer was pretty straightforward to use. Great value. Very useful and detailed check in and check out guide.

Good as a hotel near a number of metro lines around Osaka. The location isn't so close to major attractions except for Osaka Castle itself which is walkable from the hotel, other places are easy to get to by metro though. There's many good coffee shops a short distance from the hotel doing specialty coffee.

The bed was very comfy to sleep in.
The lounge felt really relaxed.
And it is a walking distance from the Osaka castle.
USB outlets near the head of the bed.
Walls are very isolated. We didn't hear anything

The hostel is clean and the beds are confortable, separated with curtains. There are 2 big mixed dorms. The bathroom is big and convenient (2 per dorm).
The common area which is convenient, spaces to chill or eat, a kitchen, sodas, big table and very nice tourists going there. The location is okay, close to the metro and the Osaka Castle.

The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The best location for exploring city center. We used metro only for Osaka Castle and Universal Studios. Every day room cleaning. Everything was perfect. It was just like regular hotel. Maybe even better.

The room was quite spacious, clean; the staff was very nice and polite. The hotel is around a 20-30min walk from Osaka station, but also from main attractions like Osaka castle, dotonbori, etc. So even though the hotel is not far from all these attractions it was very quiet at night. We had breakfast included; which was tasty and there was a lot of choice.
