relatively big rooms which were great for a family. The stuff was amazing - they had a "tasks game" for the kids to do around Kyoto and get prices. the location is great - close the the train station but in a quiet area.

    The Grand Reverie hotel was immaculate - it is indeed a hidden gem. When we arrived we were upgraded to a superior double room, which was more like a suite being spacious and beautifully furnished. The staff were helpful and of course so polite. Location was great, within a 5 minute walk to Karasuma Oike station and the buzzing Nishiki Market.

    Very modern and room was very clean. Lighting and air con controls next to bed. Small fitness suite in basement and a nice onsen. Location was good not far from Karasuma Oike station. Good range of buffet breakfast.
