Lots of construction work impacting on the village atmosphere. Isolated from the busier parts of Nusa Penida. The reality did not match the idea picture created. It was not a relaxing environment. Not great for a stay…good for a visit.Guest review byTinaAustralia - 10.0
Wear sneakers, not flip flops.
Wear sneakers, not flip flops. Get there about an hour or more before sunset. We were adventurous and went down the thousand mismatched carved steps knowing we had to walk back up. There are another thousand steep steps to the right that will take you down the cliff to the beach. We did not do that. My friends flip flop ripped halfway down and she had to be innovative on her way up. Sunset was gorgeous.Guest review byKennealy - 2.0

very very busy, was it worth the trip ? maybe - I will let you decide - watch out for the monkeys trying to steal your belongings !! long drive to this point roads very un-even sometimes even dangerous when on a scooter, taxi drivers don’t stop or let you pass they drive too fast when near to the scooters making it difficult for us on scooters, roads bumpy, uneven and full of pot holesGuest review byMatildaAustralia - 8.0

Great views & loads of warungs. If you want to get down to the beach make sure that you have plenty of fluids, strong legs and a good sun hat. It’s a long way down and even further coming back up.
