After the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi, we toured Kakheti. Just outside Telavi we stumbled upon Chateau White Flags, an oasis of tranquility with a beautiful view of the Caucasus. The welcome was warm. The hostess conjures up delicious dishes on the table. The wine, made by the host, was exceptionally tasty. With an eye for tradition, but with an open mind for the melting pot of cultures that come together here. After a delicious dinner, we immediately booked an extra night. Enjoyed an extra day of reading by the pool and an additional culinary evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended in an excellent location!

Gorgeous property just on the side of town. Has unobstructed views across the valley and along the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff, an amazing restaurant and bar.

The stay was very lovely. I was very suprised by the european service at the hotel. The size of the room and cleanliness were perfect. I had a room with the view over the vineyard. The breakfast was amazing.
