Excellent hospitality from my entry till my departure to train station. Very professional & efficient check in which is quite stand out even compare to other hotels i went locally , HK & overseas. Well decorated & equipped guest room. Spacious & all provisions in good condition, only setback is wardrobe space not sufficient enough for 2 pp & the faucet /shower arrangement not user friendly for elderly guests. Other than that, all is top notch to me. Furthermore, unaware afternoon tea is offered upon our arrival which is good that we could have a quick & elegant tea then just out for sightseeing relaxingly. 1 things must be mentioned that the concierge guy( sorry that didn’t asked his name) serving us from entry to the hotel till called cab for us on departure which is very helpful, sincere & professional , excellent representative for this Langham in Shanghai !

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! Next to the hotel, there is a cozy café that prepares coffee and fresh snacks for guests even before its official opening. It was very convenient to start the day by simply grabbing a cup of aromatic coffee and a delicious croissant right before heading out. The location of the hotel is excellent: a beautiful park, FamilyMart, and a large shopping mall are all nearby. Within walking distance, or just a short taxi ride, there are countless shops, cafés, and restaurants to suit any taste. The staff deserves special praise: incredibly attentive, caring, and professional. There were many delightful details — from the pleasant aroma throughout the hotel to the 24/7 support at the reception. Most importantly, I want to mention the help I received in a critical situation. During my trip, I lost my bag with my passport and money. In addition to the police, the hotel staff played a huge role, especially the manager 安東尼. For several days he communicated with the taxi service and eventually managed to recover my bag. It was not easy, but thanks to his persistence and dedication, everything ended well. I am very grateful to the hotel team for their professionalism, care, and genuine support. They not only provide comfort in the little things but also stand by their guests in the most challenging circumstances. If I come to Shanghai again, I will definitely choose this hotel and will be more than happy to strongly recommend it to my friends!

We had a truly exceptional stay at this hotel - from the location (11/10 excellent: mall right across the street, Nanjing Street literally a 2 min walk away, metro stations, restaurants, convenience stores, etc), to the welcoming and very helpful staff that made our stay even more comfortable (special mention to Mr. Ray, Mr. Leo, and Ms. Violet for the excellent help) and to the hotel itself which is a historical beautiful building with very comfortable rooms (the bed and pillows were a dream) that had all the amenities you'd want - would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel seems newly renovated with the highest standards. Super clean everywhere. The room was spacious and comfortable, bedding/linen/pillows were just amazing. The shower had a perfect pressure and plus point for the heated seat toilet. The breakfast had a but of everything from dim sum to pastry. Lots of veggies and fruit. Does the job and is a welcome gift. Location was great, 5 mins walk to line 1 and less than 10 mins to line 8. Several restaurants around for traditional food at night. While the staff didn’t speak English, they were welcoming and engaging. Just a translation app away.

    There was a lot to like about this hotel! Very comfortable beds, in a spacious, clean, air-conditioned room. Incredible breakfast with every imaginable food option. Perfect location for seeing the city, directly opposite the park housing Shanghai Museum and right next door to a shopping mall and Nanjing Road metres away. Incredible view from the bar on the 47th floor. The pool was a lifesaver in the Shanghai heat! Staff friendly and helpful 24/7.

    Although Shanghai is a massive city, the hotel’s location is very central - close to one of the main metro stations, the city’s largest commercial street, People’s Park, and the Shanghai Museum. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were helpful.

    This authentic Shanghai Shikumen residence immerses you in local alleyway culture right at your doorstep. The location is exceptionally convenient: within walking distance to the Natural History Museum, Shanghai Museum, and the Bund. For farther destinations, the metro access is highly efficient. The property was spotless, and notably, the upper floor provided generous space – our son particularly enjoyed having his own dedicated area. Overall, an exceptionally pleasant stay that balanced cultural authenticity with modern functionality.
