The proprietor is friendly and the breakfast is exceptional with made to order eggs. There are great activities around the area such as Hohenwerfen castle, Saltmines, Ice caves, and the sound of music meadow trail. Staff were very friendly and smiley. The welcome drink on arrival - and seated on the terrace, seeing the view for the first time - was much appreciated. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with a choice of eggs cooked to order. Our room (number 3) had a small terrace where you could sit out and drink in the view. The staff was extremely friendly, the room clean and comfortable and breakfast delicious. Definitely recommend arriving by car (free parking is on site). There are a few really good restaurants in nearby town. Hohenwerfen Castle is a must to visit.
