It was excellent and staff were very friendly. We eat in restaurant and for us we had pizza and we Italian. It was perfect pizza. The room was grand and elegant and the beds were very comfortable, we sleep very good. We highly recommend this hotel for holiday.

Pondoro is set on the banks of the Olifants River inside the 50 000 ha Balule Private Game Reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park (Game drive traverse 30 000 acres). Small scale with only 8 units. Luxury but all inclusive so no surprises. The staff were all charming and professional. The service and cuisine were exceptional.

Upon arrival, Tracey, the owner of Highgrove House, is waiting for us for a warm welcome, refreshing towels and a welcome drink. Tracey passionately talks about the history of the family business and shows us the beautiful gardens and main building. You imagine yourself in a bygone era. We notice that attention to detail will be the guiding principle for our stay here when we receive a tour and are escorted to our suite. Literally everything has been thought of. Over the past few days we have been spoiled culinary and we have really enjoyed the peace and nature. Nothing was too much for the team of Highgrove. We wished we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Six senses. The house is newly renovated and very well equipped. The pool and jacuzzi was a lovely addition to the house.Tienie was a very responsive host. We will recommend the accommodation to anyone travelling to Marloth park.
