Hot tub was great at night. Outside shower marvellous. This place was literally connected with nature. We chose Basic cottage because we wanted to feel it simple way and it was worth it. Straight in the front of the cottage we could observe zebras and elands. Great for relax, out of civilisation. Definitely we will come back.

Very nice guesthouse in a quiet area of Oudtshoorn. My room, which I was upgraded to, was very spacious, had everything I needed, and the bed was very comfy. The little pool was much appreciated to cool off during a hot summer day. Amanda and Frans are lovely hosts. Thanks for everything, I will gladly stay with you guys again when I come back to Oudtshoorn!

Situated on top of a hill looking over the Outeniqua and the Swartberg mountains, Le Petit Karoo Ranch offers luxury tents and rooms in a tranquil setting. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The owners, Tracey and Karen are amazing and very welcoming. The tent is more luxurious than a standard hotel room. They even had a chandelier in the bathroom. For a colder night there is an electric blanket. A must stay in the Karoo!

Set 16 km from Oudtshoorn, Berluda offers charming accommodation in country-style cottages located in the scenic Schoemanshoek Valley, 15 km from the Cango Caves. It features 2 swimming pools. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely, homely facility on an ostrich farm. Breakfast and supper were wholesome and tasty. Good choices of food. The facility is relatively close to Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch. Beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay.

Incredible views, and the tranquility was amazing. We loved the big deck, the wood fired hot tub and the indoor fire place. This place is a little piece of paradise!

From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!

So unusual and unique. Wann and Naz couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Naz made the most amazing food for us. The hot tub under the stars was incredible too.

I loved the serene location and the calm decor of the property. The natural materials, neutral colour palette, and everything were very cozy. The views were stunning. It was a great farm stay with very accommodating hosts. Everything was of the best quality.

Oom Sakkie is an exeptionally welcoming host who helped us with a fully stocked fridge on our arrival so we could sample food from nearby farms. The sheep farm is a bit out of the way down a dirt road but the road is good and a regular car will do just fine. Enjoy the bright starry sky and the outdoor braai. Exceptionally well priced too.
