It’s difficult to write a review about this property without it sounding unbelievable, that’s because it is, unbelievably good in every way. The hotel is a quiet area a short journey from the airport, close to the Roman archeological sites of Carthage, stunning views from the roof terrace, staff that couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect, including meeting requirements for gluten free food and providing guidance for finding our way around. The property is impeccably clean and tastefully designed. The food cooked to order for us was excellent varied and in more than adequate quantities. At the end of the road is a nice cafe called Jasmin, where there was also a friendly helpful greeting, nice food and drinks which we used for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner one evening. I can’t single out any member of staff for special commendation, all went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and very special.

A beautiful Dar in the centre of Sidi Bou Said located on a quiet but accessible side street just metres from the action. The property was beautiful and would be great value for money for up to 4 people. I stayed myself but was still worth it! I was blown away by the traditional architecture and style of the property. Unfortunately I could only stay 2 nights, I’d loved to have stayed longer. The host was very hospitable and helped me arranging payment as you cannot yet pay by credit card. I didn’t have a car, but they offered me free parking pass at the car park nearby.

Located in Carthague, Villa Didon Hotel & Spa is 550 metres from the National Museum and an 8-minute walk from the sea. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and suites with a hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stay. The room had a sea and city view — it was beautiful and spacious. The staff is kind — I would especially like to thank the porter. The value for money is excellent.
