Although there is some construction going on, there is still beach access and a stretch of beach to play at. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. The pool was a reasonable size and clean. The showers had good water pressure. We enjoyed our stay there.

Everything was perfect, even though the hotel was fully booked it didn't feel crowded, it was close to the beach but far away enough from all the touristic fuss. There is a shop, massage parlor and a Thai restaurant within walking distance and the neighbourhood is a mix of luxury homes and Thai people living in it. Also really good wifi. Definetly worth the price.

Built in 2013, each bungalow at Moon Cottage is equipped with pretty private gardens and a plunge pool. Fitted with a flat-screen TV, the room also features air conditioning and a large bathroom with shower facilities. Very good hotel in its price category. Possibly the best.

Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!
