We totally fell in love with this place. Location, food, rooms, sauna, everything was perfect. Everybody was amazing, we felt so welcomed. Don't forget to try the local gin! Superb family-run accommodation, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location was stunning right in front of the river and mountains. Definitely will repeat if I go back to Slovenia!

Located in the Slovenian town of Solčava, in the Logarska Valley, Hotel Plesnik offers a newly renovated wellness, ayurvedic and massage centre with an indoor whirpool, a sauna, rest area with... Perfect location, perfect location, perfect location. Good comfortable 4 star hotel that is set in gorgeous surroundings. Probably one of the hotels we have most enjoyed staying at ever. The hotel is set against a beautiful waterfall that we could hear from our bed at night. Nice sound to be falling asleep.

The actual property is exactly as per the photos and more. Tomaz the host was very friendly and the property was super clean and cozy. It's truly a home away from home. It's just a short drive to Logar Valley and really turned out to be the best part of our travel through Slovenia.

Our host greeted us with genuine warmth, and that friendly welcome set the tone for the whole stay. The chalet itself is a gem – spacious, beautifully furnished, with well equipped kitchen. Our private sauna and jacuzzi became the perfect reward after a day of hiking. One of the loveliest surprises was the hideaway (smaller room) at the top of the chalet – clearly designed with kids in mind. Ours claimed it as their “kingdom” within minutes and spent hours up there in their own world. The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We rented a bike to explore the panorama and let the kids roam safely in the open space around the chalet. Just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the mountains and fresh air, felt like the ultimate reward. We would love to come back again in the future.

The property was in an ideal location for hikes and exploring. The food prepared here was amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay here. The staff as well were lovely and gave us good recommendations for what to do in the area. There is also information in the rooms provided showing the numerous activities you can get up to in the area.

It is a gorgeous hidden gem in a tranquil village, nestled by the river. Amazing & unique accommodation in an old stall with timeless design. Spotless, with lots of amenities, and the hosts were lovely. The hot tub was perfect for a snowy winter evening, and we booked a dinner too, which was a delicious 5+course meal.
