She also recommended us trails for hiking and places to go in the surroundings. The apartment was spacious and nicely arranged. Even being close to the bar, there wasn't any noise disturbance. Mr. Stojan and his family are wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make every moment of our stay in Brda special. The wine tasting, cellar tour, breakfast at the restaurant with a stunning view, as well as all the recommendations for other places to visit in Brda, are just some of the reasons we would always return to the Ščurek family. This private house near Nova Gorica is surrounded by greenery and includes a large garden with a seasonal swimming pool. The owners have their own winery and serve homemade products for breakfast. The kitchen is well-stocked (everything is there), and the apartment is clean, comfortable, and nice. If you are visiting with a car, I really can't recommend it enough – there is a huge free parking area just outside the entrance. There is also a whirlpool bath and sauna available, as well as a very good internet connection. The hostess was very helpful. She speaks very good English, which was very useful since we are foreigners. Highly recommend it!
