It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

Skärgårdshotellet offers views of the Baltic Sea and the Stockholm archipelago, and is located less than 3 minutes’ drive from the Gotland ferry service. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking. This is a gorgeous hotel. It has loads of personality, is very clean and comfortable. Even the lift is decorated in a seaside cottage look. My room had a seaview and small deck. The breakfast was massive and tasty. 5 min walk to the Gotland ferry. I wanted to stay forever.
