The staff was very kind, they could accommodate the breakfast 30 min earlier since we needed to leave early. Would definitely recommend!

The list goes on and on. The breakfast Helena personally makes everyday is extraordinary. There is a very wide selection and more than enough food to carry you through lunch and provide an afternoon snack. But the best thing about this rental is Helena herself. She is charming, kind and caring in a special way. Even though I am older than her, it felt like I had my grandmother taking care of me. Her daughter Daniela is also very charming. Spending time talking to Helena was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend this worldclass rental to anyone. There is no way you could do better in Pinhao, Portugal or anywhere else in the world.

The design is stylish yet cosy, making it easy to feel at home right away. Everyone on the team was friendly and welcoming, but two people truly deserve a special mention. Yarelis greeted us each morning with her contagious smile, kindness, and genuine care – the perfect start to the day! Daniël was always helpful and making sure everything went smoothly during dinner. Their thoughtfulness made our stay even more memorable. The food was excellent – fresh, creative, and clearly made with love. It’s the kind of place where you feel both relaxed and well looked after. If you get the chance to visit, don’t think twice!

LWe had the most fantastic stay at Douro Green—everything about our time there was truly excellent. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh, delicious options each morning. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We also really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, which added so much comfort and convenience to our stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.
