Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. The whole environment was wonderful. The owner was kind and give us advices about restaurants, place to visit and so on. Highly recommended place!

Delphine and Guillaume are great hosts and made our family feel very welcome; The location of the accommodation is beautiful and invites you to relax; The whirlpool in the evening was brilliant; The fresh eggs from their own chickens were a highlight every morning; To summarise: We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time very much. We can warmly recommend the accommodation.

Dalam 38km dari Whangarei Art Museum dan 39km dari Claphams Clock Museum, Marsden Cove Canal Haven with Spa Pool menawarkan WiFi percuma dan teres. The hosts Donna & Neville were great. Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.

Beautiful appartment with great amenities and a spacious room to get a good sleep. Had a nice chat with the owner, she has the sweetest dog as well.

We were welcomed very nicely to the property and shown around the facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The Cottage was immaculate and had a Christmas tree which was nice. Very clean and nicely decorated.

Fantastic views and accommodation was very comfortable and weather proof. Access to a beautiful cove. Lots of walks.

Set up above the town and away from traffic.noise, the apartment has a lovely view across the bay. The apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished, and well equipped. The host is friendly and helpful.

Terletak di Russell, dalam 12-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Long Beach dan 400m dari Christ church, Bellrock Lodge mempunyai penginapan dengan kemudahan barbeku dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat... We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.
