Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. The whole environment was wonderful. The owner was kind and give us advices about restaurants, place to visit and so on. Highly recommended place!

We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could stay longer. Delphine & Guillaume are exceptionnal guests, passionate about what they do and they make you feel very comfortable. Our rooms were very cosy, comfy and clean. The house is very spatious and well decorated. There is even a little play room for the children. The breakfast was very good too. We would definitely come back and cannot recommend them enough.

Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.

Absolutely beautiful green property with the kindest hosts! We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay. Yurt was very cozy, quaint and well equipped. We were welcomed very nicely to the property and shown around the facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The Cottage was immaculate and had a Christmas tree which was nice. Very clean and nicely decorated.

The host is friendly and helpful.
