Arista of Rotorua studios are 20 minutes’ walk from the famous Polynesian Spa. The property features a BBQ area and a pirate ship children’s playground set in lovely gardens. The moment you open the door, you will be awed by the layout. Spacious and luxurious indeed. You will have two queen beds and two single beds in a two-floor room. Kids love playing up and down the stairs, and it was undoubtedly the best stay throughout our North Island trip in NZ. The personal spa jacuzzi in the room was another standout feature of this stay. There is also an on-property playground for the kids. The room was clean, comfortable and complete.

It is a pleasant walk into town from here – ask Tony for his spot-on recommendations for area attractions. Be sure to visit the understated Whanganui Regional Museum! We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!
