Such a brilliant location with the most special view (even when we had a bit of rain on our final morning) and incredible surroundings. Photos really cannot do this place justice - it’s just beautiful and the little patio area is perfect for enjoying some outside time in this part of the world. This cabin offers a really unique and cosy stay, and we would definitely recommend. Having spent five weeks travelling around NZ and staying in many different types of accommodation, this was the standout! We could not have asked for better or more friendly hosts either - thank you so much David and Sandy, especially for all your tips while in the area!

Bed is super comfy, underfloor heating in showerroom, which is good touch. Breakfast is very well cooked. The night is beautiful, can hear nothing except nature. Watching star from the patio is amazing.

Chelsea Park Motor Lodge offers luxuriously appointed rooms with free unlimited Wi-Fi, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Nelson. Praises for the motel are well deserved! Super welcoming staff and spotless rooms. Extremely comfortable beds. Rooms well equipped. They really make you feel at home.
