The proximity to the airport is a plus, as well as the complimentary shuttle service - even in the middle of the night. Our spacious room surpirised us positively. Breakfast was good and abundant. We had no problems with any airplane noise.

We used it as a base for snowboarding Ohau and treble cone. The fireplace & hot tub were a massive hit for us after the hill. Star gazing was also impeccable from the back yard! We also checked out the lake nearby (recommended from the host in their welcome book) and had a quick cold water plunge. Whole experience was excellent. Comfy beds. We will be back.

Tussock Hill Vineyard Retreats terletak di Christchurch, 7.8km dari Galeri Seni Christchurch dan 7.8km dari Muzium Canterbury. The Villas (only 2 on the property) are superb. Very private and beautifully located overlooking the vineyard. There is no TV which is a great thing. Absolutely loved our stay and would have stayed longer if we hadn't been returning home. The restaurant service, food and wine was excellent.

I will definitely stay here again when I come to New Zealand next year. Unfortunately my English is not good enough. I hope next year my English will improve and I can chat more with the owners of the house.
