From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and hardworking staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and adventurous stay in the Arctic wilderness. The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. At Norwegian Wild guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. We truly can't recommend Norwegian Wild enough. When we first booked our trip, we were torn between staying in the North part of the island, where the scenic route is, but after talking to Hege we were fully convinced to stay in Norwegian Wild and experience nature at its fullest. Everything about this place is just magical! We saw the northern lights multiple nights in a row, from the comfort of our cabin, and it was stunning. When it snowed, we felt like we were inside a snow globe! We loved loved loved our cabin, and also really enjoyed the jacuzzi. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant, the reindeer stew was 10/10! The staff was so friendly and helpful, we got to play with the husky from one of the girls working at the restaurant and it was super nice. We went kayaking with Tim, we went snowshoeing in the Ånderdalen National Park, we went sledding with Senja Husky - we did lots of very nice activities. What a wonderful , unforgettable trip! Thank you Hege, Tim and the Norwegian Wild crew for making it even more special!

The best of this place, was the views and calm. I strongly recommend the experience of the jacuzzi, being there at night at -5 degrees outside and 40 degrees on the water, is something amazing.

Wonderful location right by the fjord! Mr. Alf was really helpful and had some good advice on where to go skitouring despite the weather (we were a bit unlucky as it just didn't stop snowing). The room was very clean and we loved relaxing in the common/living room with a beautiful view - highly recommend this place!

At Yggdrasiltunet, guests will find a hot tub, sauna, garden and terrace with panoramic views. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. Horses, sheep, chickens and rabbits live on the farm. It’s the coziness and feeling of comfort as soon as you step into the reception/cafe area. Upstairs is the living room complete with fireplace and candlelights. The ambience, music, smell, decoration of the entire place were all so perfectly curated to match a gentle chill out vibe with an amazing view of snowy mountains and fjord. Dinner was simple healthy dishes cooked Norwegian style and breakfast was a tasteful healthy buffet. This is honestly a true wellness retreat for body and soul. And here I haven’t even mentioned the Jacuzzi under the stars! To top it off we witnessed the spectacular display of northern lights - all within the comfort of our bedroom!
