The very comfy bed is surrounded by glas windows and a glas roof and we were able to see the northern lights at night from the bed as we were staying here in December. The cabin itself had a kitchen with everything you need to cook, but the local pizza place will also deliver food, if you can't be bothered. We did book also a 3 hour horse carridge ride with dinner included which the lodge offers on their website. You can even book it online. We can highly recommend a stay here and also the sledge ride. Oh, and the jacuzzi on the terrace is super romantic!

I recently stayed at this hotel on the Alta River with my family and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff like Nicholas, Margret, Tonje, Josh, and Maya who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with stunning views of the river and surrounding wilderness. The facilities at the hotel are top-notch, with everything we needed to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor activities. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, which were perfect for soothing sore muscles. The food at the hotel was also excellent, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the effort put into accommodating our dietary needs and preferences. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the attention paid to families with children. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our kids, and went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. They provided extra snow suits and boots for the kids, which was very helpful, and even had a special menu with kid-friendly options. Our children loved playing in the snow and exploring the nearby forest, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were safe and happy. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel on the Alta River for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Norway. The staff, facilities, and location are all top-notch, and the attention paid to families with children really made our stay special. We hope to return someday and experience it all again!

Dengan pemandangan laut, Norwegian Wild terletak di Vangsvik dan mempunyai restoran, dapur berkongsi, bar, taman, teres dan taman permainan kanak-kanak. We stayed at both the lighthouse and the aurora sea view cabin. They were both super clean and cozy. Very good showers with high water pressure. Quiet, peaceful surroundings with amazing views. Meals were delicious, especially the fish soup. The host, Hege, was so nice, always attentive and very helpful. When she knew our next destination is Sommarøy, she initiated to check for us whether the car ferry route to Sommarøy would actually open on that day(because it was just after Christmas holidays). Was a really wonderful experience staying at Norwegian Wild, definitely recommend it !

Must recommend the Arctic Romance Package. Stunning breakfast with finely selected offering. I travel a lot and have started rating the places I stay by the quality of the breakfast bacon. I have to admit that this place is the new "king of the hill" on Matti's bacon index. Absolute 6/5 👌

The sauna was top-notch. The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast A+ and meals of the day were also excellent.
