The rooms were amazing, perfect. On the beach, ideal for sunrise and sunset viewing. Really comfortable, awesome with the a/c as it was super hot out. Also the pool area was a dream. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. 10/10

Everything. Honestly amazing staff that go above and beyond for you. They even checked for me at the airport for a jacket I left behind by accident. There’s always coffee and water. The rooftop is beautiful they even have some weights for working out. I loved the neighborhood many great eats and cafes nearby. They gave restaurant suggestions which exceeded my expectations. I loved this property and would stay here again. I’ve seen reviews complaining about noise but it’s very quiet there. Especially considering it’s Mexico. Mexico is not typically quiet. I had great sleeps here. The location was awesome very walkable to everything and I will return when I’m in Oaxaca again. They have everything you need. Tiny mini fridge in room and larger one to keep food in on second floor. Stocked kitchen on the rooftop to prepare food if you wish. Beautiful views. Just an amazing stay overall

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. We loved the staff’s attitude to sincerely want to please us! It was impressive, almost to the point of watching the run to get the soda or drink requested. The food was very tasty and fresh.

On top of a hilll. One side of hotel with garden and pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The other side overlooking the smalll bay/beach in the quiet fishing village of Puerto Angel. We had a family room for 5. Plenty of space and very comfortable and clean. 5 minute walk on back path to village and swimming beach. Village is not built up for mass tourism. Nice and quiet and very laidback. Friendly and we felt safe walking at night. Really good and helpful communication with hotel owner Mauricio before and during our stay. He helped organize a boat and snorkelling trip where we saw turtles. Good breakfast with a good selection. A fridge available in kitchen. One of our favorite hotels in Mexico. We could have stayed longer than 3 nights.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is located on the beach in a very safe area. The staff in the hotel restaurant was amazing - very attentive and always willing to help. I would like to send a special thank you to Juan, Jose, Francisco, Ana, Itzel, Isabel who created an amazing welcoming atmosphere there. The food was good as well. And cocktails =) You can also walk to another hotel of the same chain and visit evening show there. This year a very good dancing group performs there. And we were very excited watching them. It was definitely a professional level not an amateur one. The hotel by itself is very new and modern. You can also make amazing pictures because it's located on hill near the coastline. We'll definitely return back.

Héctor is super accommodating as a host. The casita is on his property but very private. It has a well-appointed kitchen with a fridge, Toaster oven and two-burner gas stove top. The bedroom and bath are upstairs with a great king-size bed and nice linens. There are fans on both levels and A/C on the top level. Simply opening the windows at night and using the fans is our favorite way to sleep. Lots of windows with screens throughout the casita. The shower has hot water - which is not a given in rural Oaxaca. Hector also provided us with a 5 gallon bottle of water. There is a coffee pot and an Oster blender conveniently located on the counter. My husband swam in the pool outside our room daily. It’s cold and refreshing.
