We were greeted by staff at the front desk who cheerfully fixed my mistake. Our rooms were beyond what the photos show. We were greeted with a shot of Tequila and staff drove us to a restaurant and then picked us up. They had to make 3 trips each way for all of us. I can't say enough kind words to the front counter staff. We were all hugging them when left. This is a stunning hotel with a nice restaurant next door. We're staying longer next time. We had a very enjoyable 3 day stay at Casa de Tillie. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The common area was well equipped with coffee maker, water, small fridge, microwave, comfortable seating and views of the city to die for. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Delicious meals including fresh fruit, homemade granola, yogurt and a different main dish each day. The property is lovely and the lower patio with a small pool and hot tub are very nice. Rene and Flo were the perfect hosts and they and their family are lovely people. They know the city so well so were able to direct us to many restaurants and things to see and do. We had a terrific visit to Guanajuanto and to Casa de Tille. As an FYI - the house is located near the top of the hill so the walk to Centro is about a kilometer with a steep uphill climb. We love to walk so for us it was not a problem.

If you are a very active life style I strongly recommend this place because it is located in the up hill and if you want to buy something or do a city walk in San Miguel de Allende, you need to walk up and down the hill. But if you are not that active may be the other place in the city center more match with you. The breakfast actually great. However if you prefer buffet breakfast like a big or chain hotel, this place is not your answer. The breakfast was like home made and does not have much to offer.

Viñedos San Lucas terletak di San Miguel de Allende di Guanajuato, dalam jarak 8 km dari Church of St. Michael the Archangel. Absolutely amazing place! The winery is really vast, they produce excellent wines and their restaurants are superb. The stuff in the hotel did everything for us and we felt as really exceptional guests. This place is just spotless - you can feel like in a winery in Tuscany. It was the best spot in our whole Mexico trip. The only thing we regretted was that our staying there was too short.
