We were greeted by staff at the front desk who cheerfully fixed my mistake. Our rooms were beyond what the photos show. We were greeted with a shot of Tequila and staff drove us to a restaurant and then picked us up. They had to make 3 trips each way for all of us. I can't say enough kind words to the front counter staff. We were all hugging them when left. This is a stunning hotel with a nice restaurant next door. We're staying longer next time. Flo and Rene were super hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We arrived earlier than check in time and left later than check out time and they accommodated us, no problem. The breakfast was excellent and through chatting with them we learned a lot about Guanajuato and their families. The locale is ideal… but if you walk home it will test your legs on the uphill. 😆 We used the pool and relaxed on their deck. It was all excellent.

If you are a very active life style I strongly recommend this place because it is located in the up hill and if you want to buy something or do a city walk in San Miguel de Allende, you need to walk up and down the hill. But if you are not that active may be the other place in the city center more match with you. The breakfast actually great. However if you prefer buffet breakfast like a big or chain hotel, this place is not your answer. The breakfast was like home made and does not have much to offer.

Viñedos San Lucas terletak di San Miguel de Allende di Guanajuato, dalam jarak 8 km dari Church of St. Michael the Archangel. Absolutely amazing place! The winery is really vast, they produce excellent wines and their restaurants are superb. The stuff in the hotel did everything for us and we felt as really exceptional guests. This place is just spotless - you can feel like in a winery in Tuscany. It was the best spot in our whole Mexico trip. The only thing we regretted was that our staying there was too short.
