The host was very friendly, even though we communicated mainly through the chat/translation app. The fridge was surprisingly well stocked (we did not expect that, as this is an autonomous apartment) - there was also a daily basket of breakfast goodies and a lovely bottle of red as a gift. There's a convenience store within a 3 minutes walk and a bunch of restaurants around the area. Now about the main attraction... The view was stunning, with million-dollar sunsets on a daily basis. And in the morning you can have coffee on the deck observing ships going in and out of Yeosu. All in all, Whale's Dream is a perfect place to slow down and relax and we'll make sure to visit again next time we're in Korea. One thing to consider - the roads in the area winding and rather narrow, so one should account for that when planning daily trips, especially if you want to be back for that stunning evening show of a setting sun.

You really feel like you’ve left the world, and it’s so peaceful. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, beyond measure! I would definitely come back here again.

We absolutely fell in love with this pension! We stayed during the winter off-season and had the privilege of occupying the most beautiful ocean-view room all to ourselves. The view outside our window was absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, furnished with elegant simplicity. The floor heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and warm throughout our stay. We also appreciated the well-equipped, spacious kitchen where we enjoyed cooking ramen. While the excellent facilities and amenities left us thoroughly impressed, the true gem of this pension is undoubtedly its wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and thoughtful. Whenever we messaged her asking for local dining and sightseeing recommendations, she responded promptly and efficiently. Her recommendations were detailed and carefully curated. The grilled fish and oyster restaurants she suggested offered exceptional value for money. We're particularly grateful for her helpful tips about ferry ticket discounts and luggage storage at the POW Camp. Thanks to her recommendations, our trip was filled with unforgettable memories. We will definitely recommend this pension to all my friends. If I have the chance to visit Geoje Island again, I would absolutely choose to stay here again, and I look forward to seeing the host's warm smile once more. Beautiful pension in a beautiful spot on Namhae. I don’t know how crowded it gets in summer, but in May the place is just amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, they took the time to explain the reason of the pension’s name and showed us their beautiful garden with more the 200 types of flowers. The view from the room is incredible.
