The hotel was very well located, and the staff were exceptionally nice and kind. The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need, offered free of charge. The complimentary shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko train station is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji because of the weather, but this hotel is definitely a must!

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Stayed for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience! Service was impeccable. The kaiseki in-room dinner was fantastic. Presentation was 10/10 and food was really fresh! Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It's hard to describe how wonderful out stay at this property was. Fuji view right in front of us, open bath (onsen) with Fuji view again! Great staff, amazing atmosphere all around (no different from a gallery), super-friendly and helpful staff at bar as well. Their yukatas and kimono jackets were also fascinating. I mean, as I said, lots of words to describe but none of them would be enough. Just experience it yourself please.

Really beautiful design and interior, super spacious in comparison with all the other locations we stayed in Japan. We really enjoyed dining in the restaurant, the dishes were so delicious!

It is also really quiet. We were provided a choice of toiletries and also a welcome drink. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a comfortable and safe stay. Also 5 min away there is a supermarket which is open 24/7.

Amazing value and had everything we needed. The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Would book this place again over a hotel any day

Terletak di Yamanakako, 20km dari Fujikyu Highland, Hanamizuki menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, gelanggang tenis dan kemudahan barbeku. I had an amazing stay at this ryokan! Just like others have mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, and I was really surprised by the generous portions of authentic local dishes—such a wonderful experience! The entire ryokan was spotlessly clean and very quiet, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. When I visited, there weren’t many guests, which made it feel even more peaceful. One of the most memorable experiences was the kindness of the staff. It was snowing heavily that day, and I missed my bus, which meant I had to wait another two hours. Out of nowhere, the ryokan staff messaged me to check on us, and when they heard about our situation, they offered to pick us up! When we finally arrived, being welcomed with a warm, delicious meal was the best feeling ever. The ryokan is actually very close to Hirano Beach, but unfortunately, due to the heavy snow, we didn’t get to visit. That just gives me another reason to come back! If I ever visit Yamanakako again, I will definitely stay here. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so at home. One of the elderly ladies even noticed that I was unsure how to eat a dish and helped feed me—it was such a heartwarming and adorable moment. ❤️
