Good facilities, small store in the hostel for some food. Delivery of bento boxes for dinner was a good extra! Very nice private onsen!

I would like to go every year if I can.

The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

Bed was comfortable, there is a heater to make it comfortable for you. They took the time to show us a great spot for cherry blossom viewing! I definitely stay again, maybe even a night more to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Located in the sacred Mount Koya area, 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- is a historic temple and an accommodation for visitors. We loved everything about Yochi-in. We had wonderful meal and the privilege of participating in the afternoon meditation and early morning ceremony. We took a guided tour with one of the temples monk to Okunoin cemetery. Beautiful experience.
