Everything went perfect after a rainny day at Nikko, we enjoyed a litlle onsen and the relaxation mood in there.

The nicest onsen we've seen and there are some mixed bathing areas which is great for couples. If you are prepared to travel there (we travelled from Kyoto which was a long day of trains and buses) you will not be disappointed.

A wonderfully authentic traditional ryokan with spacious, comfortable rooms and beautiful river views. The public onsen was perfect—hot, clean, and peaceful with great natural scenery. Dinner was a delightful kaiseki experience with impressive presentation and thoughtful local dishes. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making the stay truly special. The setting with a charming rope suspension bridge adds to the unique atmosphere. A perfect getaway for onsen lovers seeking relaxation with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended. Menawarkan penginapan berhawa-dingin dengan balkoni, Kokage Villa Nikko-KVN terletak di Nikkō. Honestly, it was already perfect — what more could we ask for? Private, peaceful, great vibes. Loved the outdoor tub and that insane sakura tree. Thanks for the fruit, coffee, and beef too — such a nice touch. Would 100% stay again.

The accommodation was spacious, cozy, and beautifully located in a quiet forest area with a lovely pond — the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive, even offering us rides to interesting sightseeing spots around Nikko. The dinners with traditional Japanese dishes were absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back again! 🌿🇯🇵✨

The location is very convenient - close to a bus stop and to Heiki no Sato. The room was spacious, clean and bright - very comfortable. We enjoyed the private bath. Although it was described as indoor, we were delighted to find that it had full-length windows looking out onto nature so it felt out door to us! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. :)
