Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.

Plenty of space and very comfortable for bigger groups or families. Concierge team started a whatsapp chat group a day prior to check in and were responsive throughout our stay with any questions we had.

The most gorgeous place, very quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony was stunning, the interior was very cozy and authentic, full of wood and natural materials, the rooms felt very private. The hosts were very thoughtful and welcoming. And there was a cute cat too!

We loved the incredibly delicious food (dinner and breakfast) and the great hospitality of the owner and his wife. Our room was pretty large and had all amenities you need, except an ensuite bathroom. The shared bathroom is clean, large and comfortable with showers and an onsen! If you're lucky you have the bathroom for yourself. Although we had a rental car we stayed nearby the pension to avoid the load of tourists on e.g. the Magome- Tsumago trail. Kaida is a pretty village from where you can hike. The waterfalls trail loop on the way to mount Ontake is beautiful and tranquil as is the whole area around mount Ontake. It's easy to spend 4 days at Kaoru!

Tsutaya Tokinoyado Kazari mempunyai basikal percuma, taman, teres dan bar di Kiso. Ryokan 4-bintang ini menawarkan titik jualan pas ski dan khidmat shuttle percuma. Peaceful surroundings with traditional Japanese accommodations and meals. Staff was excellent. Onsen was spectacular.

Eternal Flame features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. The main street of Hakuba Echoland is a 6-minute walk away, and features many restaurants/bars. Nao & Kimmi were incredible hosts! They went above and beyond. We were really taken care of.

The Onsens are fantastic after a day on the slopes, as well as relaxing in the cosy lounge room. Can't wait to be back!
