Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei terletak 10 minit berjalan kaki dari kawasan Kawaramachi yang meriah. Ia menawarkan penginapan gaya Jepun dengan kemudahan moden dan reka bentuk tradisional. Absolutely loved this place. The staff were all so friendly, and the two ladies that helped with the kimonos are incredible and beautiful humans. We wish we could have stayed longer with them, it was the perfect stay!

Buddhist temple berusia 1000 tahun, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in menawarkan penginapan gaya Jepun, taman yang indah serta Wifi percuma. The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
