Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The landscapes were amazing, the open air onsen was an incredible experience. We enjoyed the enlightened small garden at night!

Hakone Suimeiso terletak dalam jarak 3 minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen Hakone Yumoto dan 15 minit berjalan kaki dari Sounji Temple. We loved the staff, kanna made our trip such an amazing memory and we wish her the best as she has been an absolute delight ! We recommend you also take the option to have breakfast and diner included as the experience is very pleasant. Hopefully we can come back soon, in the meanwhile take care Kanna !

Close to the pulsing shinjuku and Shibuya. Markets close. We had a kitchen with tea and coffee! So nice! Very recommended!!

The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

Everything went perfect after a rainny day at Nikko, we enjoyed a litlle onsen and the relaxation mood in there.

We stayed in the villa, which has a living room and bathroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor. The accommodation had everything one could need – we even found coffee and some spices, which was a lovely touch. Thank you for that! Cleanliness was also perfect. The owners offer breakfast for an additional fee. One thing to note: the dining table is Japanese-style, so you sit on the floor rather than on chairs. The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and you can enjoy long walks along the promenade or simply relax with the sea view.
