Fuji from our room. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable! We also loved the french meal!!

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The historical building and the interior with all of the sitting spots was well done. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked and the AM coffee was very much appreciated.

I’ve been staying at Urasa Cottage for a couple of days, and I must say I truly felt at home. The host is very friendly, and the house is quite new and clean. It’s also not too far from the station. Great staff; polite and refined but not “too much”, the steak dinner was nice and they were able to accommodate my request to change one of the dishes. Room was spacious, modern and the overall design was great with a large balcony, a lot of sunlight from the windows and privacy at the same time. Wine was great too.

Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.
