As soon as we saw the view from our room (and from the whole property) we were magnetized by it and fully arrived on our relaxing holiday. The balcony was wonderful and so was the pool (perfect water temperature!) and the whole lush, botanical surroundings. The public spaces of the hotel were traditionally decorated and it was always quiet and very inviting. The hotel has an extremely homely feel to it, we felt completely relaxed at all times thanks to the ambience of the place. The host and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always good.

The room had an amazing view! The on-property spa was outstanding (several hot tubs/whirlpools and sitting areas), very kind staff, breakfast was great, and it was a short walk to the town center where there were several restaurants to choose from. It also had parking which was helpful.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Ginna was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay – she made us feel very welcome. When we wanted to rent a scooter, she organized everything for us within half an hour, which made things so easy and stress-free. We truly enjoyed our time on Ischia and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Carlo went above and beyond in every possible way. He even crossed over from Naples just to welcome us personally, give us a full tour of the villa, and make sure we felt completely at ease. He was available 24/7 for any question or need — from local recommendations to small requests — always kind, responsive, and warm. It’s rare to find that level of care and dedication anywhere. Very unique! The villa itself is immaculate: spotlessly clean, beautifully designed with high-quality furnishings, and fully equipped to cook like at home. The mattresses are brand new and incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful and covers the entire property — a true blessing in summer! The view? Stratospheric — sweeping, serene, and unforgettable. The silence and peace around the house made it the perfect oasis to unwind. The pool is the cleanest we’ve ever seen, and the lush garden is maintained daily, looking pristine every day of our stay. A special shout-out to Assunta, the housekeeper, who is a true gem! She visited daily to clean and maintain the villa, and change all towels and all sheets every 3 days!!! something we’ve never experienced at any other holiday home before. Her kindness and professionalism added a special touch to our stay. ❤️ We were a group of 10 people, and every single one of us agreed: this is the best villa we’ve ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. The combination of the location, comfort, service, and above all, Carlo’s outstanding hospitality, made this a home away from home in every sense. HIGHLY recommend Residence Villa Cristina if you plan a vacation on Ischia! Each guest has a private apartment and bathroom with a small kitchenette. The residence is in a private, tropical botanical garden with a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfasts (and other meals) are in a beautiful open air covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and palm trees. Recommend the mezza pensione/half board in which dinner is included. The dinners include several antipasti/appetizers, a primo/pasta, a secondo/meat which was usually fresh local fish, dessert, and wine made by the owners. Very good value for the money and everything was freshly made at the moment! A bonus: the best beach on Ischia, San Francesco, is an easy 10-minute walk from the residence. Will definitely return! The staff is like family!

Offering an indoor pool, Hotel Casa Nicola is located in Succhivo 1 km from Sant'Angelo on the island of Ischia, a 5-minute walk from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.
