Provided with an LCD TV, all rooms at Mare Hotel are air conditioned and are decorated with pastel colours. Each one has a balcony overlooking the surrounding hills, the garden or the sea. Everything about the Hotel Mare was amazing, location, view, staffs. Loved there Restaurant, amazing food. Nothing to complain.

Rooms are spacious and airy, each provided with free wired internet, air conditioning, and Acqua dell'Elba toiletries. All rooms have a private balcony or patio. It's a few years since I stayed in an Italian Hotel. On arrival, there's an initial sense of concern due to the overall outdated appearance of the hotel and it's rooms. But, very quickly, you realise that the success and joy of this hotel is based on a traditional and impeccable service, great food and a fantastic location. They get everything right. I cannot remember a more happy hotel.

Set in the idyllic Cape Sant’Andrea, the hotel is surrounded by lush vegetation in an area rich in ancient pine trees and flowers. The hotel’s own garden features a captivating view of the village below, the sea and the horizon. The gulf of Sant’Andrea boasts clear waters, a clean sandy beach and unspoiled, typical local fauna and flora. The shallow beach of this earthly paradise makes it safe and fun also for children. So many to mention. The view from the dining terrace, our room and the garden is magnificent. The garden is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained to compliment the stunning view. The staff, from the reception desk to the restaurant staff was courteous, welcoming, and attentive to my personal dietary limitations We also like the area full of walking opportunities just from the hotel, then farther away, a hiking trail along the coast to Marciana Marina. The restaurant Da Sauro serves up a good selection of seafood as well as traditional toscana dishes in additivo to the half board option. We had the zuppetta, a seafood soup. It was so delicious, we repeated it the second night. The breakfast buffet offers a nice selection of sweets and savory choices to satisfy guests preferences.

The host was really nice and the apartment was located close to the main streets of Marina di campo. We do also had a nice pcik up service from the airport. Some bicycles are also free to rent directly nearby the apartment.
