The location is perfect for exploring both sides of Matera—you can either walk or take a bus to reach the Sassi. Parking is free, and the host, Giuseppe, was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available to answer our questions. The room was very well equipped, and although we were just two people, the breakfast provided could easily have served four. Everything was spotless, and we were genuinely pleased with our stay. I highly recommend this apartment and we’ll definitely be coming back.

The staff was very helpful, the lobby is also very nice. In front of the hotel there is an amazing view of the old town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. You are in the Sassi and centrally located. The owner, Giuseppe, and his wife, were the best! From the moment we registered online, he sent notes on Whatsapp to me telling us where to park, how to take the bus, directions to walk with pictures and instructions. All was very helpful. He got us dinner reservations at Pico and it was marvelous. I left my hat at Pico, and he arranged to get it with the owner of Pico…a great effort!!! Thank you Giuseppe for a great stay!
