Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Excellent hotel! Well worth the price! Very beautiful scenic view with a nice trail. Hot tub was also great.

Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

Fantastic location and view of the entire fjord from the high vantage point. Cozy, comfortable, clean and modern cottage with lots of space. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great hot tub on the deck overlooking the sea. Spectacular drive over the mountain pass and through the fjord to reach the cottage. Helpful and friendly host.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. Very clean, comfy cotttage. With hot tub outside, with a great view.

The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was clean, they had good drinks and the spa was quiet and not crowded at all. They also had a washing machine and dryer you could use for free. We went here in the middle of July.

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. Small hotel, good breakfast, nice staff

Lindarhóll Guesthouse terletak di Stóri-Bakki dan mempunyai lounge berkongsi. Rumah tamu ini juga mempunyai WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. We loved this property. Best one on our vacation!! The room was lovely, bed comfortable and very clean. Guesthouse is with 7 rooms and very quaint, like a home, remove shoes and leave in the mudroom. It was very quiet we never hear anything and were by the mudroom(entrance). We had a private bath in our room! Coffee, tea and hot water available in eating area. No restaurant near but we knew this ahead of time and brought a light supper with us and ate it there. A full Continental Breakfast was good which was replenished when needed, by the very friendly staff, so there was plenty to eat. It is located in the country, beautiful drive lovely mountains (good gravel road)(take 925 turn off near 917)with a couple of places of interest to see. Stop at the walking bridge to see the lovely canyon and further on way to guesthouse see Gerissradakirka a replica Viking turf Church- amazing. Loved this guesthouse!! We definitely will stay again on our next vacation in Iceland. Thanks so much!
