Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. The guest house is spottless and welcoming. Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

Sólbrekka Holiday Homes terletak di Mjóifjörður. Menawarkan pemandangan laut dan gunung, rumah percutian ini juga mempunyai WiFi percuma. Excellent location. Best loo with a view. Cosy. Great hot tub and dark skies. Perfect for chilling as we were pausing the exploring. Good BBQ.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland.

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. I Laugarfell every year in September with friends and we love this place. The staff is always so friendly. Looking forward to next year visit.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. This little house cannot be called luxury, but it is incredibly cozy. We had the best three days of our 2-weeks journey around Iceland in this place. It is especially well equipped with every little detail to make you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen has everything one might think of. Small but very cozy bedroom, where you feel like in a cradle and don't want to leave. Thank you very much to the owner who has thought of everything with love and care! Very much recommended!!!

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. The room was large and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpy

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. Comfortable beds, very friendly staff. Honest family business. Amazing breakfast.

Lindarhóll Guesthouse terletak di Stóri-Bakki dan mempunyai lounge berkongsi. Rumah tamu ini juga mempunyai WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. We loved our stay in this Guesthouse a lot. We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.
