Our hosts were so kind and very responsive to our requests. We went during the off season so basically had the whole site to ourselves. We were able to relax and enjoy our surroundings throughout our entire stay.

Teresa was a wonderful host and made us feel like family. Everything was wonderful especially the breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Their shuttle service between points on the estate was a wonderful service and greatly appreciated. The Hawk Walk was a very special experience made even better by a warm welcome from Yvonne and by our lovely guide Neamh. The meals at The Lodge and at Cullens on the grounds of the estate were excellent.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The hotel staff were truly excellent. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was excellent.

With a swimming pool, sauna and hot tub in its leisure centre, The McWilliam Park Hotel is located in Claremorris town. It offers free Wi-Fi, regular entertainment. The full Irish breakfast was really full and the Eggs Benedict was special. Room was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Curry at dinner was really good. Reception and Bar Waiting Staff are really exceptional for advice on local walks, impromptu glasses repairs and general friendliness. The warm friendly bar waiting staff blew others out of the water. Andrew at the Leisure centre was welcoming and helpful. Great music and a little dance in the bar Saturday evening was a surprise bonus.
