Surrounded by private parkland on the shores of the Atlantic, Renvyle House features a golf course, swimming pool and award-winning restaurant. My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.

Claregalway Hotel is situated just outside of Galway in Claregalway village. It has a restaurant, a leisure centre with a gym and pool, and spacious air-conditioned rooms. Oh the hotel was lovely. We so enjoyed having the spacious room after a few nights in cramped quarters, it was nice to be able to stretch out. We did not have an opportunity to use the gym or pool sadly but they looked nice.

On the shores of Galway Bay, just a 5 minute drive from the M6 and a 10-minute drive to Galway city and Galway Airport, this 4-star hotel offers luxurious rooms, leisure facilities including an indoor... It was really a good stay fully worth its money. The lobby is very cozy with a fireplace where you can get yourself warm in nasty weather. The room was big and clean with all the utilities in good shape. Comfy beds made us well rested after the long road. While the pool might need some renovation, it was very well maintained, water samples were taken 2 times while we were there. There is also a small kids pool as well as some swimming stuff available for babies. They also do require caps in the pool, which are available for sale though for a very fair price. The restaurant on site was also great with a very decent kitchen and calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The Connacht Hotel is located close to Lough Atalia, 1.5 miles from the city centre. It boasts a leisure centre with a 20-metre pool, spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. Rooms have good space. Very Well maintained.

The Lady Gregory Hotel is close to Coole Park Gardens and offers full Irish breakfasts, a restaurant, and a bar. Location, staff, food and nice room

In Athenry, east of Galway, the friendly Raheen Woods Hotel serves good food and has leisure facilities for kids and adults, including a swimming pool, gym and hot tub. Great stay with our children (3+5yrs)! Very nice and clean, one day we used the playing area (a small fee) , next we swimmed (incl in hotel price) all afternoon! We also enjoyed some play time around the back, there are a few things to explore for a hour or two. Great base for Galway / Cliffs of Moher and more. Good food!

Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, this elegant hotel features a 25-metre swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a large gym. Really nice stay here. Room very comfortable and lovely swimming and sauna facilities. The breakfast was also one of the nicest we've had and we have stayed in some nice hotels. Would definitely stay here again...
