With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

All of the facilities - the jacuzzi, the sauna and the spa space were brand new and well kept. The property and lake was gorgeous and kayaking was available with a bbq stand. We had a very relaxing getaway and would definitely return and recommend! Sabina and David were great hosts, they made us feel at home.

Everything was perfect from the start. Sabina and David were so lovely and could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. I happened to tell Sabina it was our anniversary and when we arrived at our accommodation, Sabina had a bottle of bubbly on ice to celebrate. We also had our dog Bear with us and she was allowed to go everywhere. Not something you will find in a 'dog friendly' hotel. Margaret is the best host ever. The hut is stunning, super clean and comfy. Really private. Hot tub is amazing. We enjoy so much, will be back for sure.
