It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

Offering an à la carte restaurant and a snack bar, Simbad Hotel & Bar Superior is located just 100 metres from the Old Town of Mosonmagyaróvár and the Bio-Flexum Thermal Bath. It was our 4th stay there. This time we were 9 people together. It is still top. Every one was completely satisfied. Thanks!
