Offering a year-round outdoor pool and located at the edge of Lake Atitlán, Hotel Toliman is set in San Lucas Tolimán in the Solola Region, 45 km from Antigua Guatemala. This is a gem. One of our favorite places to stay over 4 months travel to Central America. The location is amazing, in a small town that sees very little tourism, at the foot of Attilan volcano and right on the lake. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lovely pool and fantastic organic garden and plenty of hammocks. The restaurant is fabulous, we loved everything we ate, from the well served breakfasts to tasty and fresh salads, soups and fish, with almost everything sourced in their own organic garden. The staff are all kind and helpful and very well trained (the waiters also double as guides for the hikes which is nice). There seems to be real pride in working here.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area in Atitlán Lake, Hotel La Casa del Mundo is located in El Jaibalito. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Amazing views, food and people.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. If you’re on the fence, book this place! This was an incredible hotel. While the photos online are great, they really don’t do this hotel justice! I stayed in the suite and had incredible volcano views with awesome sunsets every night. The pool area is heavenly, the restaurant has really good food, but what really makes this place is the incredible staff. Super attentive, always willing to help, give recommendations, and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel only has seven rooms total but when I was there it seemed it was only half full (which is very surprising), so if you’re looking for peace and solitude with insane views and a pool and grounds to match, this is your place. Big shoutout to the staff who helped set up transport to the airport and dealt with my many questions! Cannot wait to come back! I’d stay here over Casa Palopó any day.

Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments are located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna and boast excellent volcano views. Free Wi-Fi and kayak use are provided at this property. I can confidently say this is one of the top 3 places I've ever stayed in my life! The location, the staff, the food, the scenery—and the hot tub—were all incredible. It was a truly rejuvenating experience. This place has super nice energy, And gosh,, the dinner was the best!!! Also, the manager sisi was very kind and welcoming us also gave us information on time. I would love to go back very soon

Hotel Atitlan, located in front of Lake Atitlán, is a rustic-style property offering extensive gardens and panoramic views of Atitlan Lake. It has an outdoor pool, hot tub, and a botanical garden. It is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic view on the lake and the volcanoes. Quiet places give you the possibility to rest and the garden also allows you to walk, relax and enjoy flowers and birds around. The personnel are very kind and patient. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the view is very nice.

Super calm big garden, very natural environment. The staff was helpful. Easy and cheap access to the centre and the port with tuktuk.

The location, the facilities - my suite was so beautiful with a view that was unmatched they bed was super comfy, the staff - always so welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back.

The location was amazing, literally right off of the main street with a ton of restaurants and things to do right on your doorstep. The room was bigger and better than I expected, it was clean and very comfortable! There was plenty of amenities and the room came with a fridge, flatscreen TV, air conditioning, amazing shower and plenty of outlets. The room had a great view out over the lake and had a door straight out onto a patio with seating and a hammock, on the roof was a hot tub and more seating. The staff were amazing and very helpful, they do laundry too and its very affordable! Maya was our host and she was incredible but all the staff i spoke to were amazing! Would definitely stay again!! :D

The breakfast supplies were a great start on our first morning there. Plenty of eggs, black beans, and bread. And lots of coffee supplies and orange juice.
