To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

We are so glad we decided to book this hotel because we didnt know Flores and thought that maybe not staying in Flores wasn't a good idea... but couldnt be more happy. Flores is caotic so having this oasis just a boat away for us was the best choice. We rested in a double room with two gigantic beds... swam in the pool, relaxed in the hotel and then they offer boat transfer to Flores at no cost. LUXURY TOTAL. But the best of the hotel is the staff. They are ALL VERY VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. There is also clothing cleaning at not cost.

The staff was very helpful, the food excellent The view to the lake was the best. Super clean and spacious rooms.. i want to go back it was the best decision.

Located on Flores Island, linked by road to the shore of Lake Peten Itza, Hotel Casona de La Isla offers an outdoor pool and hot tub. There is 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. The location is very nice, the view is so beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool when we came since we had a big heat wave. The AC was a life saver.
