It’s paradise, not in a five star showy kind of way but in a wholesome, immersed in nature kind of way. I’ll miss the lovingly prepared breakfast overlooking the spectacular lake and mountain views and the luscious gardens set with a solar panel for the pool and veg garden for the organically homegrown food. The sweet staff make the place too. It’s off the beaten track in a non touristy part but that’s core to its charm.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area in Atitlán Lake, Hotel La Casa del Mundo is located in El Jaibalito. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Beautiful property, we could walk around for ages and just admire the garden! The view was amazing and the rooms were beautiful also. Friendly staff.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. If you’re on the fence, book this place! This was an incredible hotel. While the photos online are great, they really don’t do this hotel justice! I stayed in the suite and had incredible volcano views with awesome sunsets every night. The pool area is heavenly, the restaurant has really good food, but what really makes this place is the incredible staff. Super attentive, always willing to help, give recommendations, and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel only has seven rooms total but when I was there it seemed it was only half full (which is very surprising), so if you’re looking for peace and solitude with insane views and a pool and grounds to match, this is your place. Big shoutout to the staff who helped set up transport to the airport and dealt with my many questions! Cannot wait to come back! I’d stay here over Casa Palopó any day.

Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments are located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna and boast excellent volcano views. Free Wi-Fi and kayak use are provided at this property. This may be the best place I have stayed. The views were incredible. The location was easy to access, but very private and peaceful. The on site staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the staff there were very friendly. Having access to a free paddleboard for the morning was great. Great place to swim right off the dock. The hot tub was a nice place to hang out in at sunset. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and there was (decently) hot water. The concierge was helpful and helped me arrange transportation back to Antigua. Cannot recommend enough!!

The location, the facilities - my suite was so beautiful with a view that was unmatched they bed was super comfy, the staff - always so welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Set on Guatemala’s Atitlán Lake, Eco Hotel Uxlabil Atitlán has a private jetty and offers free kayak use. All rooms have a balcony with lake views and breakfast is included. good view over the lake, spacious room, comfy hammocks in front of the rooms. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. we loved this hotel!
