Our room was large, clean, and had a terrance on the bay. Everyone on the staff was very helpful suggesting local villages and hikes that we hadn’t previously considered. The grounds were large enough for an evening walk and the patio tables always seemed to have guests happily swapping stories. Even though we didn’t use the spa, it looked inviting.

The nearest beach is just a 10-minute drive away, where you can find some of the best seafood restaurants around. I can’t recommend Euphoria Suites highly enough!

Located in Verga Kalamata in the Peloponnese Region, the stone built Petra Thea features a terrace and views of the Messinian Gulf. Kalamata is 5 km from the property. I thought this place was exceptional. Very seldom does a night's stay tick all the right boxes but this establishment succeeded with flying colours, well done Petra Thea.
